Security Policy

  1. Inspections: For the safety and security of our patrons, everyone who enters the building is subject to search for unauthorized items.

  2. Unauthorized Items: Unauthorized items include weapons of any kind, outside alcohol, food, coolers or any bag larger than 16" x 16" x 8". Included in the definition of weapons are pocket knives and pepper spray. Please leave all of these items in your vehicle. If an attempt is made to bring prohibited items into Lakeside Ballroom, you will be asked to return them to your vehicle.

  3. Security: Our security personnel are trained to assist in the safety and comfort of all our guests. They will enforce all of the Lakeside Ballroom rules. Please listen to security and act as instructed. Failure to abide by the instructions of security may lead to removal from the premises without a refund.

  4. Guest Behavior: Lakeside Ballroom will not allow conduct that may spoil the show for others. Guests that are abusive towards other guests, verbally or physically, or causing a disturbance will not by tolerated. Such conduct will result in an automatic ejection from the premises, and may lead to criminal prosecution. If anyone observes a problem, please contact a security guard immediately. Should any member of your group become intoxicated, by all means do not let him or her drive.

  5. Lost and Found: Lakeside Ballroom is not responsible for any lost or stolen items. Any lost items can be turned into any security guard or bartender on staff.

  6. Alcoholic Beverages: No alcoholic beverages, other than those served by Lakeside Ballroom are permitted on the premises. Alcoholic beverages may be consumed by those 21 years old and older. No one under 21 years of age is allowed to enter. Guests and patrons my not take alcoholic beverages outside of the building including the parking lot. Please drink responsibly and do not drink and drive.

  7. Stage Area: No patron or guest is permitted on stage or backstage unless permitted by Lakeside Ballroom or the artist.
